Default Is this wheel setup hurting me?

My current setup

Street Use:
17x9.5 inch Z06 wheels

Nitto 555s (285s on the back, 275s on the front)

Track Use:
Trade back wheels for my
18x10.5 inch Z06 wheels

Nitto 555R drag radials (305/35s)

When I go to the track, is this size tire hurting me? They look great and fit very well, and my HP after I get these boltons should be around 340-345ish to the wheels.

Before on my 17 inch street tires, I was cutting a 2.0 60 ft and running a 102.6 mph trap speed.

After I added my 3600 stall (and tune), i cut a 1.76 60 ft and ran a 103 mph trap speed on the 18 inch drag radials.

I think you will do better with some MTs on there.

Hmm, should I stick those on the 17inch or the 18inch wheel though?

17inch is easier on the pocket book for sure.

Yes it can make a difference man, if you really would like to see some 60 foots, get a set of Welds, put some Mickey drag radials 275/50/15, or ET street 26/11.5/15. For what your car has done either one of those tire combos would do you justice.18s are heavy, and you have no side wall.
