interesting idea
i had an interesting idea today. I have silver 10 spokes on my z28 and theyre a little rashed and the paint needs to be touched up. they also look a little plain. I saw an srt8 charger today and noticed that the face of the wheels are polished but the sides of the spokes are still silver. like this:

so i was wondering if there is a way i could polish just the face of my 10 spokes and leave the sides silver, and of course id polish the lip also. FYI i have no experience in polishing so how would i do this?

I think on those wheels it wouldn't be that noticeable. Maybe if you painted them like a darker grey then polished the face, but with silver I don't think you would be able to tell, at least not enough to make it worth while. The SRTs pull it off cuz they have more surface area and you can actually tell the difference, but with your ten spokes I just don't think there is enough surface area to pull off the proper contrast without going with a darker shade for the sides.
