So tried using the new polish ball... ya know the red ball you put on your drill. Well it works well..to well. I was trying to remove some oxidization from my chrome lip and didnt see that the other part of the ball was rubbing the black chrome finish white.

Any way to fix these spots?

What polish did you use? If you used metal polish on chrome, that's your first problem. Also not sure those power ***** are designed to be used on chrome for that reason.

It was turtle wax chrome polish. Yeah figured that much out about not to use it on chrome.

Just trying to figure out how to fix the spots?

You might could try Duplicolor's Metal Cast in Smoke (p/n - MC206)
If you try it, you will probably need the adhesion promoter also (p/n - CP199)

Probably won't be beautiful, but might work well enough to camoflauge the error...
