Review: Yokohama S-drive
I got these installed and am very impressed. I have had michelins and BFG G-force tires before and even in the trip home i can already tell a huge difference. They have absolutely NO tire noise. my old BFGs would hum along with the varying speeds, i actually thought it was a bad bearing somewhere in the rearend. Now the car has no noise other than the exhaust.
Price is very reasonable, $150 each from Discount tire.
The tread is soft, but not Nitto soft, it has a bit of give when you put a fingernail to the tread, the sidewalls arent too stiff either, was a very smooth ride down my pothole infested road.
I will see how they wear over the next few months, but from what I have heard and read, they do very good.
I tried to find some twists and turns, and the tires did well, my old tires would make alot of noise up front in the heavy turns, these just bite and go.
So far I am very satisfied, havent tested the off the line grip, but i probably cant help you guys too much with that... i'm down about 150hp compared to most on this board.

falkens suck! i had the 275 40 17 fk451's and they did handke ok but had no none at all foward grip lol.
if it was colder than 70f out side it would feel like driving on ice they would just spin and spin.

^If you are looking for grip with a 12 second car, the 451's just won't be able to handle it. The RT615 would be a better falken to consider. Don't let the 451 leave a bad taste in your mouth, it just wasn't build for that kind of power.
Thanks for the review 14secV6 and thanks for the mention.
