Am considering these wheels for my 02 SS and just had a couple of questions

Was going to run the street lites

15 x 10 F body specific for rear is the 295 the biggest tire I can fit with no mods to wheel well?

15 x 3.5 for front, what size spacer is needed to clear? What kind of skinny is everyone running and what size?

Is this combo streetable for everyday driving? I dont HAVE to drive the car everyday but it sees quite a bit of daily driving in the summer.

Any other opinions?

Billet claims them to be safe for street and strip but when you run a skinny front wheels and tires just remember to take the turns abit slower and your stopping is abit more less (easier to lock up the front breaks) but I have drove my old Camaro daily with big and little all the time and never had any problems. I had Welds and got lucky I didnt bent a front rim (cause they say race only and had afew buddies crack afew) just get some good tires for the front (like MT or something)

I just bought a set of these myself. I have the F-body 15x10's out back and 15x4's up front with some grinding. I am running a 26x7.5 Sportsman (8ply) up front and a 275/50/15 MT drag radial out back. I am really happy with this setup, but you could prob. go bigger in the rear. You could also run some cheap Kumho's or something like that up front to save some money. My sportsman cost me $126.00 a piece. My MT drag radials cost me around $182.00 each shipped from Speed Inc. Just thought this piece of info would help. Thanks!

So it was necessary to grind on the fronts? I was told that with a spacer on a 15 x 3.5 in the front I shouldn't have to grind?

If your car is stock height, you can run 15x10/275-50-15's no problem. That combo would be 26 inches tall, so still approximately the height of stock. You could go to 275-60-15's, which are 28 inches tall, but they might not fit if you are lowered. You could go to 325-50-15's but, based on personal experience you will need to probably clearance some spots in the inner fenders to fit the tires (not the rims). You don't have to grind the rear calipers.

You will need to grind the front calipers to run without spacers. It's not that much grinding.
