Default 315 35 17 Tires - Will they fit?

Would 315 35 17's fit on my stock 2002 wheels? Current tires are the stock Goodyear GS1 275 40ZR17's. Any plus or negative on doing this?

Step 1. Go to the wheel/tire forums.
Step 2. Read the damn stickies.

No..... 10.5 or wider to safely run 315 tire. Yes you probaly could mount a 315 nitto on the stock rim but you'd be doing it at your own risk.

I wouldnt do it...Just go with a 275 size Nitto DR. I love those tires! I had great street traction with 275's on my setup.

no they do not. i have them on my 17x9s. the overall width is skinnier than other brands, but the tread width, what actually counts is just as wide if not wider
