Are these tires the right size? I know they're fine width-wise. I'm really wondering about sidewall height-wise. I'm riding on stock height too. I'm getting some C5 Z06's 18x9.5 all the way around. I'm thinking about running 275/40/18 in front, and 295/35/18 in rear. Are those heights ok, or should I go with 275/35/18 and 295/30/18?

Have you considered using 17" wheels on the front and 18 on the rear?
As for your question, the first setup you listed would be, in my opinion, the way to go.
