what's used to polish after front lip bend is fixed?
question; does anyone know what wheel shops used to polish out the scratches after a front lip bend is fixed on an aluminum rim?

You will probably need to wet sand the lip a little bit if it still really rough. Once you have it smooth enough, say after 1500 or 2000 wet, just polish it out with any normal metal polish. I prefer to use mothers. How did they fix the lip? I had one of my wheels repaired and he straitened it out somehow then used a lathe to clean up the edge of the wheel. So now I have a straight edge instead of a radiused edge on one of my wheels, but no one ever notices it.

not sure, think they have a machine that rerolls it? not 100% sure though, i'll check once i pick them up monday. hopefully there not THAT bad... toldem not to mess with the polishing part cause it was gonna be 35$ extra per wheel. and its not like i have anything better to do in my free time haha
