Default time to shop for wheels

Okay guys so I have only had my 98 ss for about 4 months now and well now its time to do some wheels on it. So Mainly I am trying to figure out what sizes would ne best. I know this the car will not be getting lowered until it gets retired from daily driving to do just strip duty, then I will rework the suspension. I am also wanting to stick in the 17"-18" range nothing bigger then that I also what something that is a little deep dish. I just kinda want some ideas for sizes and offsets I need to look for. And I dint want to do any BFH mods or rolling fender stuff. Thanks for input.

at stock height are you not able to fit 315's in the rear? I kinda like the staggard idea.

Yes you could, but you stated,"And I dint want to do any BFH mods or rolling fender stuff". If you go with a 17 x 10.5 with a round a +44 to +50 offset, and run some 315/35/17 that run narrow, then there's a strong chance you shouldn't need to do the BFH or roll the fender lips.
