Default 325/50/15 ?!?!?!

Ok so I'm going to pick up some draglights today that they are 15x10 in the back. A member on here told me u can fit a 325/50/15 MT DRS in the back lol. And I know that's a huge tire and don't really need it to hook , but I would love it for the look. Does anyone have any pics of a set like that on there car? And also what do u have to do make them fit , I think it will have to do something with a hammer lmfao any suggestions, comments, and advice would be good thanks!

You have to do a lot of pounding on the wheel well, probably have to remove your bumpstop, might even have to cut the mount off.

Damn those things are huge. I personally wouldn't add all that rotating mass for the "look". Get a 315/35 or even a 275/60 if you want a lotta sidewall... the 325/50's gotta weigh a **** ton.

lol off-roading is completely different, bigger tires help tackle bigger obstacles. The added rotating mass plays little to no role unless you are doing mud bogs.

And yeah, 315/35 if he wants a wide tire on his 17's, 275/60 if he wants a lotta sidewall on 15's, or even 275/50 on 17's for the "meaty" look.

I'm just trying to help him find a good medium, 325/50 is just illogical for anything less than 600rwhp or so, especially when guys take 275/60's into the 7's with way more HP.

This isn't my first rodeo, I know how tire sizing works, and sidewall vs traction. The OP is asking about ordering tires for his 15s, so I wasn't too sure why you started tossing out ideas for 17s. If you care to re-read the OP's first post in the thread, it seems as though he is more concerned with "the look" as you put it, than the logic of what tire would be best for his current performance application.

Maybe it's just because I'm used to having bigger tires on my racecar, but to me the 325s don't look that big at all.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...wering+springs

search is your friend. tons of pics in here. and after seeing all those pics i went with a 275. 26 inch tall tire instead of a 28 inch tall tire. that way no problems with the ABS system and what not. i have my wheels and tires mounted just not on the car yet.
