widest tires on 9 1/2 wheels

Who got the widest tires on 9 1/2 wheels are thoes wide enough for some nice drag radials???

People put even 315's on 9.5 inch wheels. However, the PROPER size is 275 for a 9.5 inch wheel. I would say 275 is plenty wide for a DR.
