Default Help me with some wheels? I need to get this power to the ground?

I dont want to spend alot of $$$ but I would also like some wheels for some strip/street applications. I would like some lightweight wheels to in 17 inch. My budget is about $1000.00 I was thinking of maybe 17x6 up front and 17x10 or 17x11 in rear. I am also willing to get 15x6 in front or 15x10 in rear. Is there any performance diffrent between sizes. Help me out thanks. I need to get this power to the ground.

id say look at some zr1s. imo i dont care for them on t/a's, but they should be in your price/size range, except the front would have to be 9.5, not sure if they make smaller

anyone else I am goin crazy trying to decide what wheels to get. I dont want any heavy wheels because of rotating mass. I will be taking car to strip occasionally. It is a DD car. Any recommendations would be appreciated Thanks.

Well, there's always offerings from Billet Specialties, but those may be a tad past your price range.

There's always Weld's, and IIRC you can order custom backspacing to fit your needs.

I had ZR1 style wheels on my 96 T/A (17x9.5's all 4 corners, 275's front, 295's rear). I wasn't making quite as much power as you, but when I switched to the 295 rears (BFG T/A's), it hooked pretty well. I ran 13.1 before the switch to them.
