Prostars vs Z06 wheels (weight) I am sure this has been posted before, but I wanted to share what I found. I have Z06 wheels 17x9 with 275 40 17 tires all the way around as my street wheels. I just put on 15 x 8 prostars w/ 275 50 15 M/T drag radials on back and 165's on 15x4's up front. The verdict:
Z06 replica and tire ---------50 lbs each
15x8 prostar w/ M/T radial---40 lbs each
15x4 w/165-----------------25 lbs each
Total weight savings--------70 lbs
Now I gotta see what it's worth at the track Sunday.
