Default 17x11 w/ 315/35R17 fit a STOCK suspension Fbody?

I have a 96 Firebird Formula. Suspension is completely stock. I would like to know if a 315 tire will fit in the rear with no problems?

Not to be smart but you should have searched this. It has been covered many times. To answer your question, yes it will fit as lomg as when you put the wheel on you jack the car up by the rear end. If you use a lift you will need to remove the bump stop. Also depending on what rear tire you use you may need to beat in your wheel wells so the tires dont rub.

They will fit ... if you grind about half the bump stop off you can lift the car normally...other wise you will have to jack it up by the rear end which is a PIA..those Sumotomo tires will last you about 1 year or 12,000 - 15,000 miles..they have very poor traction..they are good for doing smokey burn outs and that is about it ... for $194 a piece you can get Nitto NT555 Extreme Performance tires in 315/35/17 which is a great tire and will last a lot longer and give you much better traction in wet or dry conditions ...
