What are some good tires that can drive daily in and also use to race?

i drive bfg gsports and they seem ..ALRIGHT.. for both. If i heat them they do get sticky and the tread pattern seems to be good for grip, but they also last awhile and shead water fairly good. Main reason is there the only 255s ive found Wider is better!
