Default kumho ecsta v700 tires, 315/35-17 on the street?

Anybody have any experience with these? I'm looking for some decent tires for hooking on the street at a reasonable price. Was planning on 555r's or Toyo TQ's, but I just ran into these on closeout at Tirerack for $84 each!

I'm not sure they'd be good street tires, & I don't know about shaving them & all that as Tire Rack says for dry pavement use, but dang man, that's cheap.

I'm sure they will be sold out very quickly at this price too.

Anyone?

I used to run the 335/35/17 on my car. Daily drove them in the rain or shine with no issues. I know have the new Ecsta ones.

Cool, thanks for the info. Did you have them shaved before mounting them up? Any idea how many miles could I expect out of a set driven moderately?
