Default Tire comparable to 555R

So I'm about to finish off my first set of the 555Rs and am considering other options for purely street driving. I want something that's comparable in traction to this tire and hopefully something better. Is there anything out there that hooks better than these drag radials but also doesn't have 0 UTQG?

These lasted me a good 17k miles, so I would like something that can do that long, which I doubt I can get out of the likes of bfg drag radials.

Heard some good things about the direzza star specs, how do they compare?

Since you mentioned BFG drag radials, you're correct doubting them. I don't think I got 3K out of them. and that was letting them get a nice big wire patch showing and a very scary experience happening.

I disagree. I've had my BFG G-Force T/As for nearly three years and haven't had a problem and they still have life left after a few track visits and street use.

G-force T/A's aren't drag radials.
