Here is a picture of my car back when it was lowered and had billet specialties. Wheels were 15x10 rears with 26x11.50 Hoosier QTPs and fronts were 15x4 with 26x5's. Lowering kit was the ebaich pro kit

a 275/50/15 comes out to be 26" tall..the same as the hoosiers I had.

I am running a 275/60/15 on my welds rts at stock height and its close. If you stick with a 26" tire you wont have a problem being lowered.

28's will probably rub a little bit.

Are you running a M6 or A4?

What gears do you have?
