Ok, cool, thanks, sorry about taking the scenic route to what I meant lol.
Ya, that's what I was getting at. Just leaving the bottle open for a few hours while out and about from car gatherings and what not

No, what i mean was surprisingly NT05Rs were still able to hook on +70F day going +65mph @7k miles... Can't compare two together cause one set of tires was used while TQ came in brand new... TQ although were much softer then NT05Rs

Lol no worries man. Yep that's exactly what I do. Let's put it this way...if it's "supposedly" hard on the solenoids then it must be so little that you'd never even know it. I've had 2 different nitrous kits over those 10 years, and I'd always crack open the bottle almost every time I'd take the car out, unless I was running to the gym or something small lol

So 10 years later I should probably add some info to the thread I started. I ended up going with the 275/40-17 toyo proxes tq. They have been an awesome tire for me on the street. Obviously I can't launch off the 2 step with them from a dead stop but I can feather the clutch out around 3000 rpm and hammer it and not spin on about 8 lbs of boost (640 rwhp). They seem to be holding up really well and from what I remember they were relatively cheap compared to the other tires.

I ran them at the track for the hell of it friday night and they didnt spin with an easy launch and slow shifts. I only was able to make 2 passes but I was able to cut a 1.97 60' (12.02 @ 127 mph lol) although not great I think I could have pushed them harder with more testing. On the street they rock nothing like hooking a 1st or 2nd gear roll.

Edit: Just wanted to add that I have strange shocks on all 4 corners, no front sway bar, mwc 9" rear setup etc etc. Buddy with similar power turbo car couldn't hook below 3rd gear, but he has stock suspension with front sway bar. So suspension does make a huge difference obviously. On 11lbs of boost 730rwhp they wont hook 1st gear but they will from a 2nd gear roll
