Default Buying 245 50 16

I am just looking for basic winter tires for my 97 camaro so that means im not looking to spend 500+..if anybody has anything let me know, thanks!

My suggestion would be to get a set of the cheap, steel, "winter wheels", and run a 225/55/16 snow tire. In the winter, the narrower a tire is, the better it cuts through the snow. The 225/55 is pretty much the same OD as a 245/50, so the car's computer will still be happy....
