Default Wheels for Storage

I want to get some cheap wheels to put on my 00 camaro while I have the stock 17" wheels widened. Does it matter if I get 16" wheels if the car is not going to be driven? Will only camaro and T/A wheels fit my car? I just want two super cheap wheels to put on for storage. Also would it be bad to put my car on jack stands for a month or so while the wheels are being widened? Thanks for the help.

Jack stands. As long as it is stored inside you're good.

No dont want it to hang you put the jacks under the axle. I would go buy some junk tires and rims with your tire pattern if its just going to sit on them and not be driven. I use my stock ws6 rims and bald tires for storage.

What kind of rims can I get. Do they need to be specific to my car if im not going to drive it? I have junk 275/40/17 tires that I could put on them.

Yeah what i would do is go to a junkyard find a lt1 or ls1 take off the rims it will cost like 30 bucks or less and if the tires stay aired up keep em on. Any junk tires and rims with the lug pattern will work. Any lt1 car will or vette

You're saying you're not gonna drive the car while your wheels are out getting widened, so why are you gonna spend more cabbage on another set of wheels you don't need when you can simply leave the car on jack stands?

Fuzzy logic is fuzzy.

This is correct, but I was also thinking of putting my new 315's inside over the winter instead of leaving them on the car.

I put mine on milk crates.

LOL, JK get some mini spares.

This way when you are not using them during the summer months
you don't have a stack of big *** wheels in your way.

So letting the car sit on 4 donuts wouldn't hurt anything at all?

Hit up the junk yard or craigslist to find something with same bolt pattern.
Usually you can pick up a set of 16" alloys with ok tires for $100.

If you lived closer, I woulda just gave you my set.
