Default New 315's..vibration that comes in waves?

Hey, just put some new Nitto 555 315/35/17's on my 02 TA and had them road balanced (also called a force balance)

Car has a fresh alignment
car has 50K on the odometer
stock rear end
Makes 350 wheel
Has had its share of hard launches..

So over 70 it has a weird vibration that seems to start at the rear and work its way forward then it goes away...then it comes back at even intervals. I didn't notice much of a difference if I slowed down or sped up and it happens in neutral.

Happens on different types of pavement etc.

Any ideas?

i have the same tires, same size and everything... sounds like a balancing issue to me. my car did the same thing till i just recently rebalanced them. no matter what you do your going to get more vibrations then a average all season tire due to tread design and compound

315's here too, NO issues what so ever, either a bad tire or someone who does not know how to use that machine, IMHO

Definately a balance issue or just a bad tire. Had this issue with a brand new set of mt dr's myself. Identical symptoms.

What kind of weights were installed on your wheels and where on the wheels were they installed? You may wanna check to see if one of the weights fell off. That's happened to me before.

I have the exact same problem with my nitto nt05 275.40/17 tires. Fresh balance and alignment. However, tires were getting low, and my boss at the mechanics shop i work at said it was a treadwear issue. I rotated those tires to the front and now that wave noise/feeling has gone away.
