Cant rotate my tires =(!
I have c6 z06 18 ny 9.5 265/40/18 all around and for some reason when I went to go rotate my tires, the tire shop couldn't do it because the front tires didn't want to fit in the rear even though the rear tires fitted on the front. I don't understand, is there a different diameter in the front or are my wheels defective?

Yes I did, I even tried to do it myself, and it seems that the inner diameter of the rim might be a tad small. Does anyone know where I can get this fix?
Just to clarify, I am talking about the rim lol not the tires. The wheel package is on my car, the problem is that when I want to put the rear tires on the front, for some reason they don't fit on the rotor, but for some reason they fit on the rear.

I had this happen right after I bought my '96 Z-28 in the fall of '95, and I swapped out the OE "salad shooter" wheels for a set of the American Racing 205 wheels. AR didn't cut the centerbore of all their wheels correctly, and I had 3 wheels that would fit the front and one that didn't....

Pretty common on the later ls1 cars...just dremel out the inner part of the wheel. Wont hurt the wheel at all. I had to do this with a set of 17" GTO wheels that i had some drag radials on.

Or if yyou don't want to do any work and pay a little extra at the shop rotate the actual tires and nnot the rims, have them remove all 4 tires from the rims and rotate them that way, it'll tak longer and cost a little more but at least you know your wheels still fit right

Yes I was going to pay 80 dollars for them to take off the tires and exchange them on the other rims, but it will add up to 160 in just 1 year lol. Thanks you guys, I guess I rather dremel out the inner wheel well or take it to a shop that works on rims to do it for me if I'm too lazy =P.
