LS1-Iroc,
definitly sick.... what size tires up front on the 18x9 wheels? It looks good all around with the small bubble of tire protruding about a 1/2-3/4" over the rim. I hate when the tires sit flush to the rim or worse when the tire isnt wide enough and is pulled behind the rim lip. Looks horrible IMO. kind of like the orange vette above. Its those fine details that make or break the look IMO.

LS1-IROC - LOVE that the hark back the original design. Wel played sir. Well played indeed.

Too bad 4-gen cars don't have enough offset to have deep concave fronts.

Well, they are a soft tire so tire wear will be an issue, I only have about 2K miles on them and they still look new.

About $1K per wheel

Thank you...that was my intent, I wanted something that kinda resembled the factory IROC wheel.

THmass,
Looks damn good in 19. the best I have seen in 19's. Most do not look quite right to me.
What are your tire sizes? I am putting together some wheel size choices and cant decide which way to go yet

holy **** that is one of the sickest 3rd gens. Love everything about it. Not suprised you had to mini tub to clear those though. One time i tried to put my 12 inch wide zr1 wheels on my 3rd gen and the lugs were like an inch from the wheel when the tire hit the fenderwell lol

I sold them. getting into a C6 Z very soon, still keeping the C5 so I'm playing with other wheels on it. I'll end up mini tubbing it and getting another set, not sure if all black or polished again, just better offsets.

Dooood... your car is freakin' AMAZING!!! Did you use Wolfe Race Craft's mini tub kit or were your tubs hand made? That's the kit I used for my '97 WS6 and I've been debating on if I should tub my 1991 Trans Am GTA with the same kit. I plan on having custom replica GTA wheels made in the exact same sizes that you had done. Also, what is the contact info for the company that made your wheels? I'd like to see if they can beat the $1,500 per wheel quote I got for the wheels I plan on having made.
