Damn, thats a fairly new tire too

You'll find shops that will fix it and you'll find shops that won't...

Personally, Id drive on it (plugged) but I wouldnt let my wife... make sense?

We do not recommend repairing that tire.

The whole 1-inch form the sidewall is just people covering their asses in order to not get sued. Both my dad and I have plugged many tires that had holes in the actual sidewall. I would plug it, keep driving, and never again think about it.

Find a shop that's willing to fix it and uses those combination plug patches. I had a tire with a hole in the exact same spot had it fixed and drove on it for over a year till i sold the car.

I wouldn't have it repaired but if you do decide to get it fixed keep it on the rear.

Good call on new tire, fixable or not..

Something somewhat similar happened to me once. It was pretty obvious I needed a new tire, lol
