LT11996

So I have a 1996 z28 that's currently under the knife, but it needs 4 new tires before I can get it on the road safely again. What different sizes do you guys run on stock salad shooters? Or is there much of an option? The tires on it now are 235/55-16 Cooper Cobra's that can't hold air (thanks to the previous owner), but a friend said I should run 245/50-16s. Thoughts? Any comments or pictures are welcome
