Default All around tire

I have a 2000 ws6 all stock with a slp lid and a magnaflow cat back. I drag race (Wednesday nights 6pm to 10 pm) and drive the car on the street. I have the goodyear f1 tires on the car and traction is usually not a problem until around 8:30 when the dew settles in. The car runs 13.30's (@ 103/104mph) with 2.05 60' times. I am looking for a tire that will give me good traction when I race but is also streetable. (I drive the car in the summer time to work twice a week and out on the weekends) I am looking at the Nitto 555r and the Hankook Ventus v4 tires. Should I be looking at others? Anyone ever use the Hankook's?

I've ran the 555R and I think they are a great tire for street use. They wear good, they're stickier than a street tire, and if you happen to get caught in the rain-- they are very stable.

With that said, if your car is just a weekend/ nice day cruiser, I'd look at something like a 275/40/17 Mickey or even a Hoosier drag radial. Traction most definitely wont be a problem with the latter two.

If you do more cruising than racing I like Nitto DR's
If you do more racing than cruising than I would go with the Mickeys
