Default Better for Street Handling: DR or Streets?

I currently run Nitto 555Rs and I have heard from a few people that they handle better than street tires due to their sticky properties. Of course, not so much in the rain, but if you like to hang a few curves and come out of them hard, then the 555r will perform better than say the regular Nitto 555 (non drag radial). Thoughts?

I would think opposite when they are aired to a proper drag racing setup. Meaning 20lbs or less. When that low they have a large amount of lateral sidewall flex. I remember being able to almost wag the rear end of my car when the tire pressure was real low. The opposite would be airing them to 32-35 but then they loss there optimal drag settings.
