I have a 1984 anniversay trans am like the image below. The white rims just aren't working. I'm also trying to decide what to replace them with. The GTA rims of the late of the late 80's look the best to me.

I like the gold mesh gta wheels from an 89 TA's thru 92
those were the perfect wheels for a 3rd gen

Take a look at the Hurst Dazzler in a 17 x 9 +45 offset, Tirerack has them.

...and if you like the old style five spoke ZR1 wheels then take a look at the AFS reproduction version in a 17 x 9.5 +38 offset.

Ok so for the Trans Am the 17x11 50mm offset will tuck in closer to the car than the 36mm offset. I know in the rear the 36mm offset just bolts on in a Trans Am but the 50mm offset will require some inner fender well BFH and fender rolling correct but in the end give you a wheel that won't stick out as far past the fender correct?

imo just keep on eye on the sales thread , you can pick up some baller forged wheels for 2200-2500 with good tires, my 3 picks would be iforged aeros, fikse , i forget the model but there the spoked ones that are on the dh camaros ,i also love the new weld line up, forgeline also has some baller wheels , on my aw ss i was thinking a dark gray pc centers polished lip
