Default Just brought new drag radials

Just got some 315/35/17 too tq proxes. I hear people say do a big burnout then let tires sit for 24 hrs. What is the point of this and is it true i should do this?

it's a theory called heat cycling

I have never done it to any of the drag radials I have used and there was a thread on here I found in a search which stated a MT spokesperson said no such procedure is required

Can't hurt anything but not necessary IMO
