18x10 Torq ThrustII
Hi I'm sorry if this has been answered before I couldn't find a definitive answer...
Anyways I have a 93 camaro and I'm about to order some 18x10 and/or 18x9 torq thrust II wheels.
I need to know the correct backspacing that I will need as I can't seem to find a number anywhere and American Racing aren't really helping me out either.
Please help and let me know if the 18x10s will work without mods, or should I stick with 18x9s.
**I've attached a photo of a car with 18x10's and I'm shooting for this look, my car is red also.

Now I'm no expert, but I remember a couple of years back I wanted to get a set of tt2's, and what I remember finding was that you can't get 18'' tt2's in f-body offsets anymore. There was a company (I think TOMZ wheels) that used to carry them, but they either closed down, or just don't sell them anymore..
There's a reason everyone has 17''s.. If you want 18''s check out Torq Thrust M's.. But if I was you I'd just get 17x9.5/17x11 tt2's

Anyway...at the time, I sent a PM to 96ss1664, who is/was the owner of the car in the picture you attached in your original post. He was EXTREMELY helpful...and a big thanks to him! Below is the info he sent me.
"I measured the backspace and it measured 7 1/4" or 184.15 mm, on the offset I measured and calculated it and both came out to be 1 3/4" or +44.45 mm offset. I also found some numbers on the back, might give them to AR and see if they mean anything. AR-505 051106209, OJDOlAR 31"
"... im running 18 x 10 with a +44mm and more like a 1.5" drop. I'm also running a adjustable panhard bar to center the axle so it wont rub, it had rubbed at one time when I hit a bump. But that was because my old bump stops were rotted off, once I replaced those I never had a issue. I am running a 275/35 up front, which to me the tire looks stretched. Looking at running a bigger tire up front, so not sure what the front will be like once I do this."
Also...here's a good website to play with custom offset numbers to see how spacings compare.

This should help...and let me know how it works out if you go through with this setup.

Ryan...you're right, they can be custom ordered. I was planning on doing the same thing, but going with 18x9.5", but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Transzilla pretty much summed it up with his post, if you need anything else let me know. Also I'm running the eibach Pro kit with bilstein HD shocks.
Thanks, 96ss1664
