Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has ever run a narrowed rear end (3") and stock ws6 wheels? Is it possible in an 02 fbody?

You would either need to run really long spacers, or have the wheels widened. The latter would probably require mini tubs.

If you want to run stock wheels, run the stock width rear axle IMO.

Stock WS6 wheel is 17x9 with +50mm offset (according to my search) which is ~7" backspace. A rear narrowed 3" would be narrowed 1.5"/side. I know ~8" bs can fit with some finessing. But that still leaves an extra .5" that wouldn't fit on the inside. Then you have the outside which would be tucking inside the fender 1-1.5" more than the stock wheels already do.

Is it possible to make them fit - Yea. Is it possible to survive by drinking your own pee - Yea. Should you do either - No.

It would take some doing...but it can be done....some wheels with the right offsets would probably be cheaper....

In your case it would be basically swapping inside and outside lips....creating a new offset....might as well make them wider than 9 inches too...
