Default Drag setup tire size

I just picked up a set of Dark Stars in 15x10 and 17x4.5 and need some help on a front tire size. When running a front runner, how important is tire height compared to rear tire? If I ran a 27 inch rear, would running a 26" front cause any issues? How about if I decide to go 28" rear? I am almost positive a 28" tall tire won't fit on the front since my car is pretty low.

Wont bother at all if ABS is deleted, otherwise you are gonna throw an ABS code.

Tire size is very limited in the 17x4.5 wheel size. M&H, Hoosier, and M/T make a 17" front runner, and I believe all in a 26" height. A 26" front and 28" rear will trip your ABS INOP and Brake light to come on in the dash. I'm not sure about a 27" rear, it may be close enough not to, hard to say. You can delete your ABS, or just remove the bulbs in the dash like I do. I personally have run the M&H ROD11R front, and the Hoosier 19055 front, and like both. I think the Hoosier look a little better on a heavier car. The M&H tires always looked a little low, even when they weren't.

The ABS inop was my main concern. I do still have ABS installed. M&H has a new 28" front runner. I'll measure tonight, but pretty sure I'm less than an inch off of the 27" tires I'm on now. These being a much narrower tire, maybe they'll tuck in a little more than a 285/45/18. Not even sure a 28 will fit in the back. If not I'll probably try the 27 rear and 26 front.
