nt05 vs 555r
Installed 315 nt05 (not R) and im having traction issues 1st and 2nd still.
I went with the non r compound due to my car being 100% street car and a DD.
however if im constantly doing power burnout(not on purpose) i really dont think my tires would last that long.
im looking for something that would hook. looking at the 555r
how much difference in traction will the 555r provide over the nt05?
my local tire shop(that i bought the two nt05) is willing to switch out my tire for a new set of 555r for $150 and not sure if its worth the swap or just keep my nt05. if it will give me 2nd gear traction then its worth it imo.
550-600whp.
btw i was considering mt but i do drive on the rain in these aswell

The 555r will hook a lot better then the nt05 street tire, better yet get the nt05r.
For any kind of straight line racing the nt05 won't hold to the pavement with a stock stalled auto or 6 speed ls1 let alone 500 hp
