Default Best All Season?

I am looking for a good all season tire that can handle some snow and what is the best size that i should get for the stock 16x8.5 wheels? I only need them to last till next year, after that i am moving to Florida where i will get All Summer tires and maybe some new wheels

FWIW, I've got a set of Michelin Pilot A/S's on my GTP since it sees year-round duty. Tires are probably more pricey than what you're looking for for just one year's use, but so far a tremendous combo of grip and all-season capability IMO. Haven't had them in snow yet, but they do great in rain. They are available in 245/50/16 size also.

For a 16x8.5 rim I would suggest a 245/50/16 size tire. Try the BFG KDWS. They are all season tires and seem to have a long tread life.

do either of those support good traction at the strip, the stock RS-A's after 20k let me run a 13.4 still, but they are to pricey and suck in bad weather to get again, i may get the Pilot's and then wait until they die and get a set of the F1 GS-D3's

I have the Goodyear Eagle GS-D3's on my car and love them. I am not sure if they would be good in the snow and that is why I didn't recommend them to you but for dry and wet traction its an all around great performing tire.
