Is it safe to run this size tire ? Is it ok to run 285/40/17 on my stock WS6 9inch rims ?
Guys at the tire place didn't say anything about it.
Also, what PSI are you guys keeping in your tires ?

its only a little wider and not tall enough to throw of the speedo. manufacturers actually think ahead and give a little extra room for changes. mainly for things like tire wear.

Ok, I can see that, I wasn't sure how significant of a change there was.
