Default Help with scratches on wheels!

I have scratches on my wheels, however, I believe that the scratches are on on the clearcoat of the wheels, on the aluminum finish part of the wheels. What can I do to get rid of the scratches? Can I strip the clearcoat, and just leave em without the clearcoat?

I use this stuff at my work called color back compound, i put it on the wheeles like a wax, and it makes them look alot better, alot of cars come in with scratches like that and it makes them look alot better for the most part.

I say the rims would have to be re-clearcoated to fix. Applying an agent to that would probably cause it to deteriorate faster. If not, it would cover the "scratches" up and sooner or later they would come back.
