Default power steering and new wheels

i have a 98 Z/28 and i just put SS 10 spokes on. it was brought to my attention by the former owner of the 10 spokes ( 00 SS ) to check my p.s. fluid here and there. the SS's came with a cooler because of the larger wheels and tires.

is this something that i should be worried about

any help or suggestions, or experiences would be great

I've never heard of that before, needing a power steering cooler just because of larger wheels/tires.
