Default Has anyone tried installing a nitto drag radial 315/35/17 on a 17X9.5 wheel

Hey all: I was just wondering if anyone has installed a nitto drag radial 315/35/17 on a 17X9.5 wheel? I know that nitto drag radials run smaller in width. I have had the nitto drag radial 275/40/17 before and it was smaller then the front tire. Anyone

Yes, i've now installed both the 315's and the 275's on my stock WS6 wheels. They fit, and they bulge out a little bit. The only difference is the 315's look better out back, that's it. I'm running the 275's out back and they hook just the same. With the 315's on the shoulders of the tire don't even touch the ground so you aren't getting any more of a contact patch. So, once again, the only difference is visual. If it's worth the $40 more per tire for the sick looks (yes i loved the way they looked in the back too) go for it. If not, don't have any second thoughts becuase they don't hook any better.

Just saw you live in Hemet, all the old people must be terrified of you car.

Not recommended by the manufacturer . . . .

I'm not going to encourage this kind of thing.
