Default calipers

Got my calipers painted silver with black brackets. Hows it look. I can't wait to get my rims back so I can drive her. Look at the rust on the rotors damn.

They look nice, very clean! Weren't you considering going with SOM on the calipers not to long ago? You weren't kidding about the rust, that's pretty impressive.

Did you paint them on the car? or did you take them off? Do the calipers unbolt from the brackets or did you just tape them off?

Yeah I was going to do SOM but u can't get the spray cans mixed up anymore and it wasn't worth having someone paint em with a gun its like 50 bucks a quart or something. But I found someone who might be able to get it so I might change the calipers and leave the brackets.
As far as doing it the calipers unbolt from the brackets. I painted the calipers on the car and did the brackets off the car. I just didn't want to bleed the brakes. I ended up with some overspray on my car but I washed it off so all in all real easy and turned out pretty nice for my first time.

I brushed High Heat POR 15 onto the "hat" and on the outer ring where the "fins" are, to keep those areas rust free, the rotor surface,gets "maintained" while driving.
