Default clearance with 295/35/18 in back

I just got my new wheels and tires in and i'm wondering if i'm gonna have clearance issues in the back with my 295/35/18?? I will be lowering it shortly as well and will that create problems?? Thanks guys.

Depends entirely on your wheel offset.............seriously. You need to post that before anyone can answer. The ZO6 wheels are tucked into the wheel well so much that you might have inner fender rubbing when lowering. Many people run wheel spacers in the rear to push the wheels out further to prevent that and to loose the overly tucked in look. My 295/35/18's fit great and I'm lowered 2" FYI.

Depending on offset, may have to massage the inner wheel well surface.

I just installed mine last night. The post about the Z06 pics...

I put a 6mm spacer and I still had to whack the fender inner. Today driving to work and throwing the car around I did hear the left rear contact a bit, not sure where. 58mm offset

i just put on my 295/35/18 in the rear, and they are rubbing real bad , because i am lowered i guess. tomorrow i will have to see if i can bang out the innere fender a bit to make for some clearance but i will also probably have to get a little bit of a spacer too.......

I am 1.5" lowered also. Even with the 6mm spacer I had rubbing when cornering. Therefore, I think I would not have been able to fix the problem with only hammering.

No clearance/rubbing issues at all with the outer quarter lip rolled flat.

I have a good 1/2" to the outside and over 1" on the inside, like stated earlier it all depends on the offset of the wheel.

Has anyone compensated for zo6's when getting a new rear -?
Like order a 9" 16mm wider. I'm getting 11" rims w/ a zo6 back spacing and am also in the market for a new rear. Thought that might be the ticket.

I just had mine installed, Z06 Motorsports wheels, same size as yours, +54mm fronts & +58mm rears, they were rubbing all over the place basically...We had to remove the bumpstops just to make them fit, my friend & I considered spacers, and neither one of us felt that 4 full turns with lugnuts was enough bite, so I decided to go ahead &...Well, take a look at the thread, I took a few pics...

my car isnt lowered yet but im putting the same rims (18x10.5 58mm) on soon. I was thinking of getting arp studs and a .5 inch spacer. I see all the spacer measurements done here in mm. Is this going to do the trick? Oh and btw i don't want my car to have the wheels sticking out like snoop dogg's lowrider

I had some bad rubbing on the driver's side with my OEM Z06 wheels, 295/35/18 tires. Had to do the BFH mod, plus a 1/4" spacer to get rid of the rubbing.
