Default Tire Break-in Period?

Just wondering if I need to take it easy on my new tires for a little while, or if it makes a difference? Just got GS-D3s, but haven't really tested them yet...
Thanks.

yeah, there's no such thing, its accually oposite, you want to get the use out of them cause the more times there heat cycled the shorter there life is.... of corse thats not really noticeable unless you've got a really sticky race tire..... most people go easy on the street for about 50-100miles to get the tire dressing off of the tread, once thats gone you'll be getting proper traction..... you could get the dressing off in about 30sec. or less of hard cornering and power slideing in a vacant parkinglot....
