Default strapped for cash

hey guys im lookin for some new tires, the new semester of school is comin up so im kinda strapped for cash. I guess im down to sumitomo's htrz II or the kuhmo ecsta supra 712, from yalls expierence with these tires which would be my best bet?

I personally would go with the Kuhmo's. I used some sumitomos on my 85 TA and they sucked.

the sumitomos have a problem with road noise. I would say get the kuhmo's, but don't expect anything great.

I had a set of Sumitomos once (they were terrible in the wet). I am now running fuzions and they work great as a daily driver/high performance tire. They seem to wear better than Kuhmos.
