Powdercoat/Painting wheels
I am still torn between the two for when i get my TT IIs. Comparisons of price convenience and appearance would be great. Also to do this will the tires need to be removed from the wheels?

To powdercoat you will need to remove the tires. Powdercoating can run anywhere from $150-200 depending where you go. I've also seen it be cheaper but it just depends. If you want to leave a polished lip that plays into the price as well.

I'm getting mone done locally. Joeformula is going to shoot them for me and he works for Top Koat. They do really good work and he has his TT2s done in black. Once they are done I'll post pics up and I'll get some pics of my car with them and I'll get some pics of his too

my experience with pro fab..... i sent them my wheels they were there for 3 weeks, i was told they would be done in 3 days. i find out they cant get the powder coat that i need, so after 2 weeks of waiting, i found a place that had it and overnighted it to pro fab. about a week later i got my wheels. i paid for the powder coat and the over nighting charges and they did the wheels for free which was cool. when i got my wheels back they looked awesome, 10 months later 3 wheels are chipping. so now im getting redone again.
