What you guys think? I'm going to be running 18x9.5's in the rear and cant decide on the front width.
Will a 17x7 handle ok? Just wondering cuz I think it would look good with a smaller wheel in the front and the wider rear wheel.
Anyone have pics? Thanks!

dont have pics but i run a 17x8in up front & soon to be 17x9.5 rear on my 98 TA. Thats what id recommend but the different size diameters of the rim/tire combo 17in front, 18in rear ur going w/ will probably throw off ur ABS. It did on my SS

Woah! never heard of that before, I too have a 98 TA. So what did you do to fix that problem with the ABS?

ABS only gets upset if the OD of the TIRE is different.

17" x 8" with a 245/45ZR17 and a 18" x 9.5" with a 275/35ZR18 will be just fine. The OD of each of those tires is 25.6"

Thanks a lot for the info! I actually wanted to go 245/40x17 and 295/35x18......would that set it off, and if so how would I cure that problem?
I really want a lot of sidewall on the 18" rim......not a fan of big wheels, I just like the stance the 17/18 combo provides.
I've seen guys running the 17/18 combo in here with like 315's on the rear, crazy combo's....they never really mentioned any ABS problems.
.....I take it with a 295 in the rear, I'll have to do something like a 275 in the front???
