I thought that they only made 275/40/17" and 315/35/17"... I could be wrong though did they start making a 285 in the 555r's?

Nitto does not make a 285-40-17 555R, they make a 285-35-18. Just put a 275-40-17 tire on that wheel, and do not put a 315-35-17 on a 9.5" wheel. Best place to buy nitto's is www.discounttiredirect.com

ya my bad...they make the 285/40/17 in the normal 555 tire, not the 555R, i just really like the look of wide tires, i might just be going with the BFG KDW 275's for the front and the KDW 285 in the rear

We've got 6 of the 285/40R17 NT555's in stock currently.

Thanks,

I put the 285/40/17 firestone firehawks on my 9.5's and you can tell a little difference from the 275 but they grab like a *****!
