Question about tire size Is it possible to lose 2 tenths off your sixty foot by going with a 2 inch taller tire. This is what happened to me last night. I finally got the car back together with all the new parts and went with a 28x11.50x16 mickey thompson e/t street and only cut a 1.8 sixty ft. With the old heads and cam with the same converter with a 26x10.50x16 i was cutting 1.6 sixty fts and occasionally 1.59's. dont know if this helps but i have 3.73 gears in it.
