Default Can these be OEM Z06 rims?

First let me say I don't think they are, but I want a second (and third) opinion. My buddy just bought some nice new rims for his Z06 and took his old ones off. They are 18X10.5 in the back and 18X9.5 in the front. They are chrome, and came off an '02 Z06. He bought the car with these rims on it, and was told they came on the car when it was new. Now I have heard there were no chrome Z06 rims from the factory, and I was pretty sure they came with 17" rims up front anyway. I can't find a single marking on them, other than the backside of the centercap says "Made in Taiwan". They are in perfect shape and have very nice Michelin Pilot sport tires on them, so even if they aren't OEM they are a steal. We just want to know if they could be OEM or not. They do not say Speedline on them either, which I thought was the factory marking.

Yes there were chrome Z06 rims from GM. They came on the Le Mans ZO6. No there were never GM 18/9.5 Chrome ZO6's wheels. They came with 17's up front and 18/10.5's rear. If they were GM it would be stamped on it somewhere

No chrome, only polished even on the Z16 2004 Model. The factory rims say Speedline and GM but its obvious if the fronts are 18" atleast those are not factory.

Thats what I thought, I just wanted to be sure. The tires are like new, as are the rims. I'm gonna buy them anyway, the deal is right.

Like the others said, look on the back/inside of the wheel. Certain years have either "GM" (01) or "Speedline" (02-04) stamped on the wheel.

Plus I don't think GM ever offered 18x9.5 for the fronts.
