Will et streets that are 26x10.5x16 fit on stock 16" firebird wheels? If so, will my speedo need to be changed???

We had some 26 10.5 e.t streets mounted in some 15x8 wheels and they fit fine. E.t. streets are not as wide as the size says. Summit recommends a 7.4-9.4 inch wide wheel. The speedo will be about 5mph slow. I have 26" tall tires on now and when my speedo says 70 i am actually doing 75.

Thanks, Will they fit inside the wheel well without any modifications??? I am interested in a set for my dd, is this a bad idea???
