Default How much wider are the 315 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KD compared to the Nitto 555R

I was wondering beccause I was going to put 17 x11 on the rears....and I didn't want to do too much "modding" back there.

Thanks!

You can check their actual width on Tire Racks website, it's the overall width, not the thread width.

But, as far as I know, the KD is one of the widest tires in that size, along with the GS-D3 and the Yokohama AVS Sport. I have the Yokohama AVS Sport on my car right now in 315, prior to that I had Dunlop SP8000s. I had to do the BFH with the Dunlops, and when I got the Yokos, I had to do the BFH all over again, they are that much wider. My next tire will be the KD, but that's gonna be a few months from now.

i don't have measurements, but i can tell you that my 295 BFG kDW2 tires are just as wide as the 315 nitto 555R's on my buddy's Cobra

BFG's always run "wide" Nitto's generally run much "Narrower"

They'll fit, I have the BFG Drags in the 315's and have no rubbing issues even in hard cornering. Just massage the inner fender a little and you'll be good to go, the wider BFG's look awesome too.

they are a lot wider. its over an inch. i run nittos in the summer and kd's in rainy season and i put a 1/4" spacer on when i run the nittos because they suck in so far they look goofy. i had to do nothing to mod for nittos but spent 2 hrs bfhing for the kd's.
